About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Installer to join our team at migdesign in Welland, South Australia. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and furniture for our residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Installing custom cabinets, vanities, and other furniture pieces
  • Operating a variety of woodworking machinery and tools with precision and care
  • Selecting and preparing materials, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Collaborating with the design team to bring their visions to life
  • Ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment

What we're looking for

  • Formal training in cabinet making or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Cabinet Making
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom or high-end furniture workshop
  • Excellent woodworking skills, including proficiency in the use of power tools and traditional hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret design plans and specifications
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other tradespeople
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
