We are currently seeking a long term Automotive Parts Interpreter/Administration Assistant who is well presented, reliable, organised, and friendly to join our Automotive Service Centre.

We have a relaxed, team-based environment with friendly and supportive staff.

This role will include general administrative tasks related to the automotive industry with training provided. It will include interpreting parts, sourcing parts, quoting repairs and any administration duties associated in an automotive workshop. Some automotive background and experience is preferred.

This is a team-based role along with personal assistance where required.

You will be required to provide excellent customer service both over the phone and at reception.

Duties include:

  • Data entry, scanning, filing & uploading
  • Learn to use our automotive program
  • Interpreting automotive parts
  • Quoting automotive repairs
  • Invoicing automotive repairs
  • Sourcing automotive parts
  • Learn our automotive workshop processes
  • Inbound/outbound calls
  • Processing Orders
  • Processing card payments
  • Raising and closing jobs
  • Using Microsoft Excel extensively
  • Liaising with suppliers & clients on phone/email
  • Troubleshooting & general administration
  • Adherence to all OH&S policies and guidelines

What you will need to be successful:

  • Some background/experience in the automotive industry
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel and data entry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Can do attitude / Dedicated to get the job done
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Team player
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience
  • Wanting to join our team long term
