SEE Pathways Teacher Cert III Early Childhood Education

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Teacher - SEE Pathways Cert III Early Childhood Education & Care. This is a part-time 0.6EFT, fixed term to July 2026 opportunity based at our Lilydale Campus. This position reports directly to the Coordinator Early Childhood.

The Teacher will be involved in this exciting new pathway program which is a partnership between Community and Early Childhood Programs within the of the School of Health, Community and Animals, and the BHI Foundation Education College.

What you'll do:

• Provide high quality and innovative course materials and excellent teaching delivery to students
• Support student success in a SEE Funded (Migrant English) Pathways program, which includes the Cert III Qualification, and thereby improve their employment and/or educational pathways
• Ensure BHI compliance requirements are met, and quality education is delivered to students

About you:

• Victorian Working with Children Check clearance
• National Police Check clearance

Qualifications and experience:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE41110 with upgrade units or TAE40116)
• Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent Vocational Currency
• Experience working within the ECEC industry and/or related disciplines.
• Desirable - qualifications, and/or experience, in Migrant English teaching and delivery
• Ability to design and deliver logical, succinct, up-to-date and engaging course materials and lessons.
• Proficiency in using learning management systems (i.e. Moodle) to create innovative and engaging learning experiences for students
• Ability to develop a range of complex documents that comply with all relevant quality standards, including unit plans and assessment tools
