About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you'll oversee WHS compliance, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of industry-leading safety practices. This role is central to risk management, reporting, and embedding safety as a core operational value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion safety culture across all projects and teams
  • Deliver training, inductions, and toolbox talks
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement hazard controls
  • Maintain WHS systems, certifications, and audit readiness
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to uphold standards and drive improvement
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, HVNL, and VicRoads specifications
  • Provide regular reports, memos, and KPI reviews to management

Key Selection Criteria

  • Minimum five years' experience in WHS management and risk assessment
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Proven ability to implement and monitor safety systems and training programs
  • Analytical and organisational skills for effective reporting and compliance
  • Technical knowledge of WHS laws, standards, and practical applications
