About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced General Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a range of vehicles to manufacturer and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and general mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Conduct inspections and testing of mechanical systems
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair requirements and outcomes

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification)
  • Proven experience as a motor mechanic (minimum 1 years preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
