Due to our continued growth, Shadforth are on the lookout for an experienced Light Vehicle Automotive Mechanic to join our workshop team on the Sunshine Coast, servicing our fleet of over 400 vehicles.

The role will be suitable to individuals who have experience with servicing, diagnosing and repair works on Toyota Hilux's and Isuzu D-Max's.

As part of our team your key responsibilities will be:

  • General servicing including, fluids, brakes, clutches and repairs
  • Gearbox transmission, servicing and repairs
  • Engine rebuilds and fault finds
  • Ensuring safety and compliance on all vehicles

This is a full-time permanent position, working hours will be Monday to Thursday from 06:30am to 5:00pm, Fridays from 06:30am to 4:00pm.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade Qualification essential - Light Vehicle Automotive Mechanic
  • A minimum of 12 months post trade experience
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical diagnostics, fault finding, maintenance and repairs and servicing.
  • Extensive experience working with a variety of late model vehicles (eg. Toyota Hilux's, Isuzu D-Max's)
  • Hold a current QLD manual drivers' licence and a well-equipped Toolbox
  • Have a Construction Industry Card (White or Blue Card)
  • Have a high attention to detail and able to work in a team environment
