About the role
We're looking for an experienced Workers Compensation Manager to manage our workers compensation claims and return-to-work programs.

This is your chance to make a real difference by supporting the health and well-being of our people through exceptional injury management and excellent collaboration with managers, insurers and our return-to-work partner.

Responsibilities.

  • Manage end-to-end workers compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
  • Manage insurer performance and the renewal process, taking a proactive approach.
  • Manage relationship with return-to-work provider, supporting managers and our people with complex return-to-work.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant workers compensation legislation across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Collaborate across the business to develop proactive injury management strategies.
  • Build strong partnerships with insurers, medical professionals, and regulators.
  • Educate and support leaders on best practice injury prevention and return-to-work processes.
  • Monitor injury data and trends, driving continuous improvement in workplace safety.

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll be a confident and compassionate professional who combines deep technical knowledge with a people-first mindset. You will bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in workers compensation and injury management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian and NZ workers compensation legislation.
  • Experience implementing return-to-work programs in complex or multi-site environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in WHS, rehabilitation, or a related field.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for helping people get the support they need.
