We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities teacher to join our dynamic teaching team in a full-time ongoing capacity starting Term 1, 2026. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality instruction in ATAR Geography and lower school Humanities.
Early career teachers are encouraged to apply and we offer a supportive environment with mentoring and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons across Years 7-12
- Teaching ATAR and General courses in Year 11 and Year 12
- Developing varied and valid assessments to track student progress, providing feedback and reporting to parents and leadership
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in pastoral care and homeroom responsibilities
Essential Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and Humanities
- Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA
- Right to work in Australia
- Ability and willingness to teach ATAR and General Geography and lower school Humanities
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to professional growth and collaborative teaching
Desirable
- Familiarity with contemporary pedagogical approaches and digital learning tools.
- Ability to contribute to cocurricular programs related to Humanities or Geography.
