About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated Neurological Occupational Therapist to join a highly collaborative, forward-thinking multidisciplinary team. You'll work across clinic, community, and home settings (with the option to complete admin/reporting from home). Your caseload will include adults living with neurological conditions such as stroke, TBI, MS, Parkinson's, and spinal cord injury.

Expect to work in a state-of-the-art rehab environment equipped with advanced robotic therapy technology that makes therapy engaging, task-specific, and outcomes-driven.

This role is open to both experienced clinicians and new graduates who are passionate about neuro rehab.

Location: Sutherland Shire (with some community visits)

Start Date: Flexible

Employment: Full-time or part-time

Salary: $85,000-$125, % super

What You'll Do

  • Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments and write clear, defensible reports for NDIS and insurer contexts.
  • Scope, trial, and recommend Assistive Technology & Home Modifications—from minor to complex.
  • Deliver neurological upper-limb therapy using advanced robotics and evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with OTs, Physios, EPs, and other allied health professionals to design holistic, client-centred rehab plans.
  • Empower clients and families with practical strategies, home programs, and progress reviews.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to service development.

About You

  • AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist (new grads welcome).
  • Interest or experience in neurological rehab, FCA, AT, and home modification reports.
  • Confident communicator with strong report-writing skills.
  • Eligible for NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC (if required), driver's licence, and Australian work rights.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with complex home modifications, SDA/SIL, or insurer schemes.
  • Familiarity with robotics/VR therapy platforms.
  • Interest in mentoring, research, or quality improvement.
