Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Apprentice Facade Installer, located in Sydney, NSW. The Apprentice Facade Installer will be responsible for assisting in the installation of various façade systems including windows, shopfronts, glass awnings, curtain walls, doors, and aluminum cladding. The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced installers and supervisors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Daily tasks include preparation of materials, assistance with elevated work platforms, and learning safe and effective façade installation techniques.

Qualifications

  • Basic carpentry, metal roofing, and plumbing skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Certification or willingness to obtain certification in working at heights and EWP operation
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus
