The Role

Get your Mechanical career rolling with Australia's largest Co-Operative and a leader in the Australian Grain Industry.

The apprenticeship program will provide training, mentorship, and supervision from highly experienced Tradespeople, who are invested in seeing you finish your apprenticeship and reach your potential.

This position can be based in Albany, Katanning or Lake Grace (dependant on your location) and will require regular movement throughout the Zone.

Roster: 7:7

Responsibilities include:

As an integral part of our team, you will assist in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, which includes elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery. In addition, you will assist with installation of new equipment and troubleshooting breakdowns as required.

About You:

• Completion of a pre-apprenticeship (highly desired)
• Valid 'C' Class Drivers Licence (HR desired)
• Attention to detail and a strong desire to learn
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and in areas with high grain dust concentrations
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
