Indigenous Engineering Scholarship

Jabin is pleased to partner with Silica Resources Australia (SRA) to provide an Indigenous Engineering Scholarship.
This scholarship will support Indigenous students from the Cassowary Coast Region, where SRA and Jabin both operate.
This opportunity arises from SRA's commitment to its Indigenous Engagement Plan and Jabin's ongoing support for pathways and mentoring for Indigenous engineers.

a connection
to the Cassowary Coast Region are encouraged to read the attached details and apply

Indigenous Engineering Scholarship - Eligibility Criteria:
- Identification:
Must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and be accepted by the community as such.
Mamu Nation descendants
are especially encouraged to apply. - Residency/Connection:
Connection to the Cassowary Coast Region (e.g., family is from the Cassowary Coast, even if currently living away due to family, work, health, or study commitments). - Education level:
Currently in
Year 11
or
Year 12
, or entering a university course. This includes students finishing Year 12 and taking a gap year. These students may apply in Year 12 and, if successful, the scholarship will be held for one year. - Field of study:
Currently enrolled in, or accepted into, an accredited undergraduate
engineering
program. - Academic standing:
Sufficient grades to meet the entry requirements for the engineering course.
