Automotive Electrician

Freedom Motors is Australia's leading modifier of wheelchair accessible vehicles and have been around for over 25 years. Our manufacturing facility is in St Marys NSW, but we supply our modifications Australia wide. We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Automotive Electrician for our Production team.

Job Task Responsibility:

• Hands-on experience working with modified vehicles

• Perform auto electrical work and wiring for vehicles modified for wheelchair access

• Install wheelchair hoists, lifters, automatic steps, wheelchair docking systems, restraint systems, and other related electrical products

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults

• Work efficiently to meet deadlines

• Conduct servicing, repairs, and general maintenance

• Ability to work independently in a workshop setting

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Assist with other tasks as required

About You:

• Hold a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent)

• Hands on experience as an Automotive Electrician (No time wasters)

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency only

• Excellent work ethic.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

• Ability to work autonomously and on a time schedule

• Must be able to read and interpret assembly manuals.

• Willing to make overtime.

• Have a high level of pride of workmanship and attention to detail.

• High standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism.
