About the Role

East West Energy is on the lookout for a driven 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician ready to step up their career in the renewable energy sector.

You'll be working across a mix of solar PV, battery and general electrical installations for both residential and commercial clients where no two days are ever the same.

We're a tight-knit team that takes pride in doing things right the first time, with safety, organisation, and customer satisfaction at the core of everything we do.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting and leading installs of solar and battery systems (grid-connected and off-grid)
  • Performing electrical maintenance, repairs and testing to the highest standard
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues with confidence and initiative
  • Ensuring all work meets AS/NZS standards, local regulations and company safety policies
  • Liaising with customers and maintaining our reputation for exceptional service
  • Participating in ongoing training and mentoring to grow your skillset
  • Keeping your workspace safe, tidy, and professional

What We're Looking For

  • A 2nd–4th year electrical apprentice with solid hands-on experience in the trade
  • Passion for renewable energy and a willingness to keep learning
  • Strong understanding of tools, materials and on-site safety practices
  • A problem-solver who's proactive, reliable and takes ownership of their work
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically fit, organised and motivated to deliver quality results on time
  • A manual driver's licence (or in the process of obtaining one)
