Job description:

SW Plumbing and Air Conditioning is seeking an ambitious first or second year apprentice to join the team.

This apprenticeship program offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop the skills necessary for a successful career as a Mechanical Plumber.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, eager to learn, be reliable, and committed to excellence.

Core duties:

  • Assist qualified plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance of heating and cooling equipment
  • Learn and apply plumbing techniques and best practices
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations on job sites
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Complete Certificate III in Plumbing

About you:

  • Ambitious, looking to pursue a career in Mechanical Plumbing.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including punctuality, reliability and enthusiasm.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and in confined spaces
  • Mature and confident attitude, personality and communication style
  • Drivers license with transportation is a must. Manual drivers license highly regarded
