At Mungari

At Mungari, now with a mine life through to 2038, our people have a longer future with opportunities to grow. With underground and open pit mining, and an expansion of the processing plant completed, the operational diversity and unique work experience is great for building and uplifting careers. Located in the Western Australia Goldfields, you can choose what suits your priorities. Work an attractive fly-in/fly out (FIFO) roster from Perth or live local and enjoy our close-knit communities and local lifestyles in Kalgoorlie.

This roster is 7:7 and a 12 hour day. Residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth.

About the role

As a HD Fitter you'll be part of the Maintenance team, ensuring the reliability and availability of underground mobile equipment within our 3 underground mining operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll bring your mechanical expertise and safety-first mindset to every task.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Performing mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting underground mobile equipment
• Actively participating in site safety systems and hazard management
• Identifying and reporting equipment faults
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting environmental compliance and safe work practices

About you

You're a hands-on problem solver with a strong safety focus and a passion for keeping things running smoothly underground.

You'll bring:

• Certificate III in HD Fitting or relevant trade qualification
• Minimum of 2 years' post trade experience.
• Dangerous Goods Security Clearance
• Experience maintaining underground mobile equipment in a mining environment
• Strong understanding of safe work procedures and work management systems
