On behalf of one of our key clients, we are seeking an experienced HD Fitter to work on Underground Mining Equipment. This role is based on a great site, with excellent rates on offer and full-time employment.

Duties Include

  • Diagnostics, Problem solving & Fault finding
  • Scheduled services, repairs, rebuilds & maintenance on: CAT loaders, Volvo trucks, Sandvik twin boom jumbo's, Normet emulsion charge rigs, Volvo IT's
  • Perform maintenance and servicing of underground equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to maintenance schedules to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Actively engage in and contribute to maintenance planning activities.

Requirements:

  • Australian Recognised Automotive Trade Certificate
  • Current Driver's License
  • Recent proven experience in underground heavy mining equipment maintenance
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Be able to pass Pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screens
  • Australian working rights.
  • A current "C" Class Manual Western Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment such as CAT loaders, Volvo trucks, Sandvik twin boom jumbo's, Normet emulsion charge rigs, Volvo IT's
  • Pronto experience
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude
