On behalf of one of our key clients, we are seeking an experienced HD Fitter to work on Underground Mining Equipment. This role is based on a great site, with excellent rates on offer and full-time employment.
Duties Include
- Diagnostics, Problem solving & Fault finding
- Scheduled services, repairs, rebuilds & maintenance on: CAT loaders, Volvo trucks, Sandvik twin boom jumbo's, Normet emulsion charge rigs, Volvo IT's
- Perform maintenance and servicing of underground equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules to minimize operational disruptions.
- Actively engage in and contribute to maintenance planning activities.
Requirements:
- Australian Recognised Automotive Trade Certificate
- Current Driver's License
- Recent proven experience in underground heavy mining equipment maintenance
- Current Police Clearance
- Be able to pass Pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screens
- Australian working rights.
- A current "C" Class Manual Western Australian Driver's Licence.
- Hands-on experience with equipment such as CAT loaders, Volvo trucks, Sandvik twin boom jumbo's, Normet emulsion charge rigs, Volvo IT's
- Pronto experience
- A proactive, team-focused attitude
