Opportunities Available

Join our Health Club team as a qualified Gym Instructor at the Lane Cove Aquatic Centre.

We are looking for someone who has a vibrant and friendly personality, with excellent communication skills that motivate our members to achieve their personal health and wellness goals.  A typical shift would include:

• Welcoming members and casual users to the Health Club
• Facilitating member orientation and education sessions
• Fostering and providing a strong customer service focus
• Increasing member retention through constant engagement and a consistent approach to excellent service.
• Delivery of Group Exercise classes

We are looking for people who have:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively develop and maintain customer base
• Great attention to detail
• Prior operational experience and knowledge of health and fitness programming
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership and management skills.
• The ability to demonstrate great drive, growth, ambition and customer experience.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, after hours and public holidays.

Qualifications Required:

• Current First Aid - HLTAD011
• CPR Certificate - HLTAIID009
• Certificate IV in Fitness
• Working with Children Check - Employee
• AUSactive Registration
• Diploma in Fitness or relevant degree level qualification
• Qualifications in Group Fitness highly regarded
