About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Retail Assistants to join our vibrant team at our Telequip store in Cairns, QLD. This is a casual role that will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the retail industry while delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Assisting customers with product selection, answering queries and processing sales transactions
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-stocked store environment
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve store sales targets and objectives
  • Maintain inventory with internal CRM tools or Accounting tools
  • Utilising Xero or similar accounting software at an intermediate user level for inventory management and financial processes
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance

What we're looking for

  • A passion for customer service and a genuine desire to help others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of customers
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team
  • IT Savvy and great attitude to learn new technologies
  • Previous retail or customer service experience
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT, technology, or telecommunications sales
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
