A leading Consumer retail business is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their growing business. Reporting to the Regional CFO, this newly created role offers a an  opportunity for a motivated finance professional ready to move beyond traditional accounting into a commercially focused planning and analysis position.  Alternatively, you may be a more experienced FP&A candidate looking for a part time role.

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Financial Business Analyst working within the finance team function, you'll be transforming data into decisions. You'll work closely with senior leaders, build powerful models, and deliver insights that shape the future of our business.

  • Supporting the forecasting and budgeting cycles across the team
  • Preparing financial and non-financial reports for performance tracking and business decision-making
  • Create dynamic dashboards using Power BI to support real-time decision-making
  • Assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly forecasts reports
  • Working with commercial and operational teams to provide insights into key drivers of performance and trends
  • Supporting ad hoc analysis as required by senior stakeholders for business development projects

What You Bring

  • Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in a finance role, ideally as an Assistant Accountant or Analyst or a more experienced person looking for part time position
  • Prior experience in the retail industry and a sound understanding of operational drivers
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI Desktop and reporting
  • Strong understanding of transactional finance flows
  • Attention to detail with a commercial and analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work across teams and meet deadlines
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting or financial reporting processes is advantageous
  • Willingness to be flexible in a fast growing business
