About the Practice

Channon Lawrence Dental is a long-standing, 6-chair clinic nestled in the historic city of Gympie, located just 1 hour from the Sunshine Coast and 2 hours from Brisbane. For over 60 years, our practice has proudly cared for the local community, providing trusted, high-quality dental care in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We operate Monday to Friday, offering great work-life balance and are now seeking a clinician to join our team each Monday and Wednesday.

Our practice provides the full spectrum of general and advanced dentistry, including:

  • Implants
  • Orthodontics (traditional braces & Invisalign)
  • Cosmetic dentistry

All supported by Oasis Dental Software and state-of-the-art technology, including:

  • PrimeScan
  • OPG
  • PSP
  • CEREC computer & milling unit
  • Amalgam filter
  • Nobel Biocare implant system with full surgical equipment
  • Diode laser
  • Anaesthesia/sedation days on Mondays & Wednesdays
  • Highly trained and supportive Dental Assistants

The Opportunity

You'll be joining a collaborative, patient-focused team led by our passionate Practice Manager, experienced support staff and highly respected Lead Dentist, Dr Mark Cull. Together, our clinicians bring over 70 years of combined experience across all areas of dentistry.

We're seeking a motivated Dentist to join the team each Monday and Wednesday, with the opportunity to commence as soon as possible.

Job Description

  • Provide high-quality dental care to patients.
  • Provide high value treatment to patients such as implants, Invisalign and Cometic Dentistry.
  • Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums.
  • Perform routine cleanings, extractions, fillings, and other dental procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
  • Collaborate with a team of dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills with both patients and your support team.
  • Passion to learn and develop new skills expanding scope of works to Orthodontics.
  • Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
  • Ability to work within Australia.
