Job no: 495174Work type: Full timeLocation: Melbourne - CBD & Inner SuburbsCategories: Trades and ServicesArborist Team Leader – City of Melbourne TreesWork on the most iconic trees in Australia – World Heritage listed trees within the City of MelbourneBe part of a team that can leave a long-lasting positive impact on Melbourne's Street scape and environmentWork life balance - 7am to 3.30pmCommencement rate $40.49 per hour (depending on experience)Monthly RDOCommuter use vehicleOpportunities for career development and further training (Cert V Arboriculture)Permanent role working on prestigious contractOvertime availableWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Arborist to lead a team that undertakes the full scope of tree maintenance services including detailed condition audits, pruning, tree removal, travel tower work (EWP), electrical line clearance, climbing, chipper operation and stump removal.This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated leader to gain exposure on the most blue-ribbon contract in Australia, managing Heritage listed and world-renowned Elms in Carlton Gardens, trees within the iconic Fitzroy Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance. The work is vast and varied from ground and formative pruning, EWP powerline, climbing, use of specialised equipment including EWPs, tipper/chipper trucks, front end loaders, spiderlifts, etc.We are seeking someone who has a passion for personal development.
