Rehab Consultant

Trade the Treatment Room for a Career with More Variety, Impact & Freedom If you're 2–3 years into clinical practice and feeling the "same day, same diary" routine creeping in… this is your sign.
This role is built for allied health clinicians (Physio, OT, Osteo, AEP) who want to step beyond hands-on treatment and into a consultative career where your clinical judgement becomes the driver of real-world outcomes, recovery, independence, and return to work.
You'll join a values-led team that doesn't just hire clinicians and hope for the best. They invest properly: an unmatched 3-month personalised induction, ongoing mentorship, and a clear pathway to grow into senior and leadership opportunities.
This isn't a sideways move.
It's a career upgrade.
What You'll Be Doing
- Use your clinical skills in a consultative setting, supporting clients through recovery and return to function
- Complete workplace, functional, and capacity assessments to identify barriers and opportunities
- Build practical, tailored rehab plans that are realistic, measurable, and genuinely life-changing
- Liaise with key stakeholders and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to drive outcomes
- Manage your day with increasing autonomy as your confidence grows
Why This Role is Different Let's be honest "training" is often a checklist and a buddy for a week. Not here.
- Above-market package up to $115,000 + Super (experience dependent) + bonuses
- $7,000 travel allowance + regional loading + additional incentives for regional travel
- Guaranteed flexibility, design your week around what works best for you
- Option to purchase additional leave (because life happens)
- Unmatched 3-month induction designed specifically for clinicians moving into consulting
- Ongoing coaching & mentoring from senior consultants who've made the same transition
- Clear progression pathways tailored to your strengths (not a one-size-fits-all ladder)
- Autonomy unlocked post-training, once you're ready, you'll run your own rhythm
- Generous PD budget so your learning doesn't stall
- Wellbeing support: health events, seminars, and EAP access
- A team culture that's genuinely social, supportive, and big on celebrating wins
- Laptop + mobile provided
What You'll Need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy or Exercise Physiology
- Full AHPRA registration or ESSA membership
- Current driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Unrestricted working rights
