The Smith Family is a national children's education charity that works with children and young people to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty – so they can thrive now and into their futures.
About the role
We are seeking a Programs Coordinator to coordinate the delivery of coordinate the delivery of the Learning for Life suite of programs, including the development and maintenance of key school partnerships and local community partnership relationships. Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:
- Establish and maintain Partner School relationships and monitor progress, planning and implementation, and feedback on programs and activities
- Manage key stakeholder relationships with Schools, Industry Partners, and local businesses
- Continually monitor program delivery and ensure the database has accurate and up to date information
- Plan and forecast program delivery to ensure all targets are met at a local and state level
- Advocate for and answer enquiries relating to The Smith Family educational programs
- Volunteer management for Learning Clubs and other program, including recruitment and retention
- Delivery and Facilitation of Learning Clubs and programs to schools
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
- Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating programs / projects
- Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relevant partnerships
- Demonstrated experience in administration
- Holds a current driver's licence
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated capability to manage and plan own work to achieve identified goals within time constraint
- Demonstrated understanding and experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
