What does the job look like?

Our Intermodal Business unit have a permanent full time opportunity for an experienced HC Truck Driver for our site based in Mt Gambier, SA. The main duties of this role involve delivering timber products throughout the surrounding regions. This is a day shift opportunity working Monday – Friday from 5:30am - 2:00pm with potential to work Saturdays as required. Key areas:

  • Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
  • Safely delivering timber products locally and throughout regional VIC & SA
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing both Linfox and our customer in a professional manner
  • Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus
  • Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior
  • Ensure loads are restrained appropriately

  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating a HC vehicle & current HC license
  • History of safe work practices
  • Familiarity with Mt Gambier, SA region and surrounding regional areas in VIC & SA
