Essential Skills:

Overview Role:
We are a small Private Hospital in Frenchs Forest, Sydney that specialises in performing sleep studies and initiating patients onto CPAP therapy.

The position is for one part-time CPAP Consultant to work in our CPAP Clinic four days a week 28-30 hours/week permanent part time. Or depending on applicants two part-time CPAP Consultants who would split the role 14-16 hours/week each.

Scheduled hours: Monday 9am-5pm (patient consultations/admin), Tuesday 8am-5pm (patient consultations), Thursday 9am-5pm (patient consultations/admin), (Friday 9am-4.00pm (patient consultations/admin).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Consulting patients for effective establishment onto CPAP therapy and managing long-term issues as they arise. Consultations include a variety of skills: accessing cloud and SD card data, interpreting results, mask fitting, equipment problem solving, offering encouragement, data and electronic medical record entries, infection control processes including thermal processing of equipment, mask assembly, sales of masks and devices. Allocated administration time includes: contacting patients via phone or email to assess their progress, preparing paperwork for Clinic operation, sending masks and devices for service or warranty issues, monitoring sale and rental stock levels and placing orders, liaising with management, medical and other staff on a regular basis, quality control and evaluation and attending routine meetings and in-service.

Skills and Experience:
To be considered for the role you need to have excellent communication skills, both oral and written and enjoy customer service and sales. The job requires solving CPAP related problems and working closely with each patient to successfully establish them onto therapy. Your work history will reflect experience in customer service and/or sales and must demonstrate excellent organisational skills. Medical experience not essential but considered favourably.

We are looking for one or two people who have an interest in sleep health, who are motivated and looking for a stable and rewarding role.
