The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of our warehouse team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve daily operational goals and maintain high performance standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and conducting regular cyclic stocktakes.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues related to damaged or short-supplied orders, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Delivery Management: Coordinate delivery schedules utilising our dedicated delivery driver and arrange courier services when necessary to meet customer requirements. Using Delivery management software for POD's and job management.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce adherence to workplace health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse and store areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with company standards.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and logistics.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team and interact with suppliers and customers.
  • Proficiency in using computers and delivery management software.
  • Valid forklift license and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
