Role Summary

To support this transformation and ensure we deliver operational excellence, we have created new positions at our NSW Metro sites for proactive and hands-on Maintenance Leads to oversee maintenance operations. These are high-impact, hands on, roles where you'll lead a skilled team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing maintenance team, including apprentices.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, contractors, and maintenance budgets.
  • Drive workshop safety, compliance, and 5S standards.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to plan shutdowns and improve uptime.
  • Champion safety, automation, and continuous improvement across the site.
  • Own and optimise our Maintenance Management System (MEX).
  • Participate in daily/weekly site meetings and support operations.

About You

  • Trade qualified in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • Proven experience in maintenance leadership within a production or industrial setting.
  • Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and robotics systems.
  • Experience with CMMS (MEX preferred) and WHS compliance.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude suited to a 24-hour site.
  • Weekend overtime is required.
  • A passion for data, problem-solving, and leading by example.
