Join Our Team as an Administrative & Accounts Officer

Larwoods Ag Services, a progressive and client-focused Ag dealership with outlets in Kadina and Maitland, is seeking a motivated Administrative & Accounts Officer to support our daily operations. With over 50 years of experience, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and a team-oriented environment.

About the Role:

You will handle a variety of administrative tasks, including:

  • Processing and managing accounts payable & receivable

  • Reconciling bank statements

  • Machinery invoicing & payments

  • Managing floorplan facilities & cashflow spreadsheets

  • Providing general admin support across departments

  • Responding to emails & phone calls

3-5 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience is required for this role.

Experience with computerised accounting systems is essential.

This full-time position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm) is ideal for someone with previous experience in a fast-paced, busy environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable & receivable from start to finish.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word & Outlook

  • Excellent communication & phone manners

  • Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work independently or as part of a team

  • Methodical, organised, and proactive

  • Agricultural industry experience or knowledge preferred.

  • Knowledge of accounting practices
  • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable.

  • Well-developed computer skills in computerised accounting systems and other related software; ability to develop new skills in other systems
  • Commitment to continuous improvement strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to act independently and as part of a small team, including setting priorities and taking appropriate action
