Our Villages business is a growing and with regional, city and coastal locations across Australia, we focus on affordable, secure and low-maintenance homes for our residents. With a workforce over 100 employees, we are also seeking to deliver and partner on WHS and compliance operations within the business.

If you're passionate about creating a safer, more compliant workplace, then this is the role for you. We need a proactive and driven Compliance / WHS Officer to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, embraces challenges, and is excited about contributing to upholding high compliance and safety standards across our Villages.
What You'll Do:
As a Compliance/WHS Officer, you'll be at the forefront of compliance and safety operations. You'll drive:
- End to End Compliance & administration support: Managing incident reporting, monthly inspections, licensing, pool safety and development compliance across various platforms.
- Consultation and Communication: Work with our Village managers, Operations Managers and Development team to ensure our properties meet all regulatory, legislative and operational standards.
- Education and Reporting: Provide advice and support, reporting, consistency and continuous improvement initiatives across our various properties.
Skills and Experience:
Education Level:
- Relevant qualification in Compliance or WHS or similar (desirable).
Experience:
- Demonstrated minimum 3 years' experience in compliance or WHS role.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of regulations and legislation within the building trade, WHS, land lease communities and compliance – Australian standards
- Strong computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Project and Excel.
- Strong collaboration skills with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel interstate and intrastate regularly to support our properties.
- Current driver's license.
- Ability to find efficiencies in processes.
- Ability to adapt to change, flexibility, and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
