Our Transport Advisory team provides traffic engineering services across Australia focusing on everything traffic-related within a property, and everything traffic-related outside a property

About the Role

We are seeking a proficient, professional and punctual Transport & Traffic Engineer to join our Transport Advisory team here in Melbourne.

Being a Transport & Traffic Engineer at Modus Transport and Traffic Engineering isn't about applying the same 'cookie cutter' solution to a problem – we are seeking engineers who are innovative and adaptable to help derive innovative solutions to help our clients and communities

As part of the role, the typical day-to-day tasks will include the following:

· Providing transport and traffic engineering design advice in accordance with relevant Local Council guidelines and Australian Standards,

· Preparing concept design drawings using AutoCAD software,

· Undertaking vehicle swept path manoeuvring diagrams using AutoTURN software,

· Undertaking intersection operational assessments using SIDRA software,

· Preparing Transport & Traffic Engineering Reports and Traffic Impact Assessment documentation,

· Attending internal and external team / project meetings,

· Collaborating closely with team members across the country.

About You

Transport & Traffic Engineering can often be challenging and complex, though at the same time fulfilling and rewarding as we strive to minimise costs, eliminate safety risks and provide value to our clients.

As such, we are seeking professionals who take accountability, remain disciplined and demonstrate resourcefulness on a daily basis.

Aside from this, our Transport Advisory team will require the following from you:

· Bachelor of Engineering Degree in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering,

· Minimum 1 year of experience related to Transport & Traffic Engineering,

· Proficiency with Microsoft suite such as Word and Excel,

· Proficiency with SIDRA and GIS tools,

· Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoTURN software.

· Strong organisational skills and design sensibilities & attention to detail
