About The Project

The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA) comprising BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup have been selected to deliver the
Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads
. The major upgrade includes new express lanes, upgraded noise walls and revitalised sections of the Koonung Creek Linear Park.

The Project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Major Roads Projects Victoria (MRPV) as the Project Owner and TSA (CPB, BMD and Arup) as the Non-owner Participants (NOPs). Together they form the Alliance working as one to deliver this critical infrastructure project.

As a key component of the
North East Link Program (NELP)
, this project will provide a safer, more efficient freeway connection for over 135,000 vehicles daily, removing 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across on the arterial road network crossing the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day.

We're completing the link together and bringing it home for our community.

About The Role

We are seeking a
Project Engineer with strong structures experience
to join our high-performing team. You'll play a key role in delivering complex civil structures, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage structural works including bridges, retaining walls, and shared path infrastructure.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and review ITPs, quality documentation, and construction methodologies.
• Monitor progress, manage budgets, and contribute to project reporting.
• Collaborate with design, environmental, and community teams to ensure integrated delivery.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering structural packages on major infrastructure or road projects.
• Strong understanding of Australian standards and VicRoads specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
