We are a fast-growing Accounting, Tax and Business Services Firm with a broad range of clientele in Australia and we now need an experienced Accountant to join the team.

As part of the team, you will work closely with our Professionals to ensure we deliver high quality advice and service to our clients locally and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend client facing meetings and providing client services
  • Preparation and processing of Business Activity Statements, Income Tax Returns & Financial Reports
  • Providing other general and specialised business services
  • Provide strategic business advice to enhance their businesses
  • Apply tax legislation to various clients' situations on an ongoing basis
  • Tax planning and advice for a varied client base from a wide range of industries
  • Managing a client book of business owners and individuals from various industries

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience within an accounting firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field
  • Qualified or studying towards CA/CPA

Skills Required:

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience using Xero (preferable), MYOB
