What You'll Be Doing

As a Handyperson, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the hotel's facilities and ensuring our guests enjoy a flawless experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending to guest room maintenance requests (e.g. TV, lighting, locks)
  • Performing general maintenance and repairs (e.g. plastering, patching, tap washers, WC cisterns, grouting, tile repairs)
  • Supporting project work and additional tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment throughout the property

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a hotel or similar environment in a maintenance or handyman role
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine passion for hands-on work
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems efficiently
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
