Senior Practitioner Men's Behaviour Change- Casual

• Mandarin speaking Men's Behaviour Change Program facilitator
• Co-facilitate a face to face Mandarin language group in Box Hill on Thursday evenings from 5-10pm
• $55.72-$58.19 plus 25% casual loading per hour|SCHADS level 6

What are we looking for?

Anglicare is seeking an experienced Mandarin speaking Men's Behaviour Change Program facilitator to co-facilitate a Mandarin language group in Box Hill on Thursday evenings from 5-10pm.

The position will undertake tasks including:

• Plan sessions and co-facilitate Men's Behaviour group programs with the purpose of stopping violence in the family and supporting men to develop responsible and respectful relationships.
• Provide a culturally safe and appropriate service to men from the Chinese community
• Review client referral, assessment, relevant partner contact information, and program participation to provide on-going risk management and safety plans including the provision of information to other relevant services in accordance with information sharing legislation
• Provide weekly group summaries to group participants.
• Undertake individual five week and mid program reviews and exit interviews with male participants as required in line with practice guidance
• Liaise with Family Safety advocates on a regular basis to ensure safety of women and children.

To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:

• To speak Mandarin.
• Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or equivalent area or Graduate Certificate in Family Violence work with practical experience in working with Family Violence.
• Experience, in working with men who use violence.
• Group leadership skills and a sound knowledge of violence and abusive behaviours and the impact on family members.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
