Senior Psychologist

Your new role:
As a Senior Psychologist (HP4) within the In-Reach Program, you will lead the delivery and advancement of high-quality, evidence-based psychological services for young people across Metro South.
Deliver comprehensive assessment, intervention and evaluation of complex mental health concerns in a multidisciplinary team, applying independent clinical judgment in line with established protocols.
Provide supervision, training and clinical direction to HP3 clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants, fostering skill development and best practice.
Drive service development and quality improvement initiatives, including the design, evaluation and reporting of research and clinical protocols.
Collaborate with headspace centres, CYMHS, adult mental health and AODS teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective community partnerships.
About you:
You are a highly skilled psychologist committed to excellence, innovation and collaborative care, with the qualifications and attributes to make a real impact.
APAC-accredited four-year psychology qualification with eligibility for AHPRA general registration; Clinical Psychology endorsement and PsyBA Approved Supervisor status highly regarded.
Proven ability to manage and prioritise complex clinical caseloads autonomously, ensuring compassionate, patient-centred outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership in supervising, mentoring and upskilling junior staff and students, plus experience in initiating and evaluating service improvement projects.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build strategic links across disciplines, engage diverse communities and uphold cultural safety.
