This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Accountant with an interest in finance, to gain exposure to the whole spectrum of Corporate Finance workflow, while primarily focusing on providing support on M&A transactions and business development.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Corporate Finance Analyst, you will work closely with Partners and Managers to deliver data-driven insights that help shape key business decisions for our clients.

You will gain broad exposure across a range of areas, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial modelling and analysis, valuations, due diligence, and the preparation of Information Memorandums and marketing materials. You'll also play a key role in supporting client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducting detailed research on industries, businesses and transactions

  • Building and maintaining financial models

  • Preparing concise and accurate client reports and presentations

  • Applying valuation methods (FME, DCF, Asset-based, etc.)

  • Managing timelines and collaborating with multiple stakeholders

  • Supporting due diligence and data room coordination

  • Participating in internal knowledge-sharing and training

ABOUT YOU:

  • 2–4 years' experience in corporate finance or business services

  • CA qualified or working towards completion

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Prior exposure to MYOB and/or Xero is a plus

  • Well-organised, with excellent attention to detail and time management

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with others
