We are currently seeking an amazing individual to join our growing Rosters team, in the role Roster Team Leader. The successful person will work with our Rosters Team to support the organisation to deliver quality, person-centred, customer focused outcomes for NDIS and other participants. You will be an integral part in coordinating the schedules of the people we support, and matching them with the right staff from our pool of amazing employees, supporting the connection between people with a disability and the broader community.

Benefits and perks

This position is a part time opportunity from 45hrs to 60hrs a fortnight, and based out of our Maryborough office. It will require shifts rostered between the hours of 6am and 10pm, 7 days per week, and on call responsibilities.

Salary for this role is based on the Social, Community, Homes Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Social and Community Services Worker, Level 3, Pay point 1.

Skills and experience

  • A demonstrated vision for people with a disability sharing the benefits of living in the broader community.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake responsibility for rostering activities
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative in the rostering activities
  • High degree of judgement, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity to the work being performed.
  • In depth understanding of the application of modern awards such as the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award 2010 or other relevant awards including the ability to interpret and apply award provisions as they apply to the rosters.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the National Employment Standards or ability to acquire.
  • In depth knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme or ability to acquire.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency with information technology, including proven adaptability to work with new systems, experience with cloud based Roster System and HRIS is desired.
  • Time management skills including prioritization and an ability to work innovatively to solve issues.
