Midas Mansfield is a locally owned franchise who is on the lookout for a talented, motivated automotive technician or confident 3rd/4th year Apprentice who is eager to learn and grow our business.

With decades of experience under the Midas brand, we pride ourselves on delivering honest, reliable, and high-quality automotive servicing and repairs. Whether it's logbook servicing, brakes, suspension, or general diagnostics, our team is committed to keeping our customers safely on the road. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing faults in engines and parts on a wide range of vehicle makes and models. Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components as required
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as servicing, repairs and maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues
  • Installation and repair of various automotive components and systems
  • Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are operating at optimal performance
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards
  • Providing excellent customer service and advice
  • Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

About You

  • Minimum 2-3 year experience as a motor mechanic
  • Australian manual drivers licence is essential
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • An enthusiastic and talented professional
  • Attention to detail with a good work ethic
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
