We are currently looking for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic hands on warehouse operator. The successful applicant needs to be an articulate, well-organised professional to handle a range of tasks that will assist with the operation of our Head Office in Mansfield.

We are looking for a fit and active applicant who works well with a team and autonomously. Someone who is neat and tidy and takes pride in their workplace.

About the Opportunity

In this role, you will be required to be self-sufficient and take ownership of the warehouse, organise drivers and be responsible for day to day cleaning duties. You will be required to control process and procedure of the warehouse and inventory.

Your day to day responsibilities would include;

• Organisation
• Ensuring driver vans are maintained in a good order with daily inspections.
• Load / unload deliveries and customer orders as required.
• Conduct stocktakes and manage stock within the warehouse
• Ensure stock is stored and handled with care at all times
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Maintain, develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
• Following warehouse policies and procedures and improving them when necessary
• Effective use of resources
• Use drills and other tools associated with basic equipment assembly
• Heavy lifting through safe work methods.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the workplace - including cleaning of all work areas and staff amenities.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5+ years experience in warehousing roles
• A positive 'Can Do' attitude
• The ability to work well within a team and promote a positive and dynamic culture
• Ability to work under a high pressure environment
• Reliable in relation to work hours (Mon-Fri 6am - 2pm)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team when required
• Sound problem solving ability
• Capacity to deal with various and often conflicting priorities

• Practical hands-on attitude. Electrical or mechanical experience is beneficial.

• Current drivers license

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Australian driver's licence (Required)

• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Required)

Pay: $55,328.00 – $62,256.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mansfield QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Australian driver's licence (Preferred)
