Position Summary:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC&R, and plumbing systems
• Calibrate, inspect, and operate controls, gauges, meters, valves, fire sprinkler, and alarm systems
• Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves and other safety equipment
• Maintain and stock parts, tools, and supplies; manage inventory and purchase order logs
• Use computers to enter, track, and retrieve work-related data
• Operate power lifts and other mechanical equipment safely
• Conduct life safety checks, including fire pump and generator run tests
• Respond to repair requests promptly, ensuring effective resolution
• Assist in developing disaster response protocols and facility safety plans
• Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating maintenance staff
• Prior facility management experience is preferred

About You:

• Required technical qualifications in Electrical, HVAC&R, and Plumbing
• Experience as a technician, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Good knowledge of building maintenance practices, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and building management or maintenance software
• Strong communication skills and a respectful attitude to foster a positive, collaborative team environment
• Passionate about the industry and committed to providing excellent service
• Strong team player with leadership abilities and creative problem-solving skills
• Problem-solving skills to identify maintenance issues and coordinate timely solutions
• Capability to manage workload and deadlines effectively
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Maintenance experience and hands-on technical skills
