Bakery Supervisor

Here at our Ferntree Gully Head Office depot we are looking to for a positive, engaging Team Leader to join our fun and welcoming Bakery/Pastry production team.

Please note - Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role.

Permanent, full-time role offering great security working 5 days per week from Monday to Friday with each 8+ hour shift running between the hours of 5am – 1.30pm for great work life balance.

Lead by example and mentor our team of up to 20, utilising your previous experience leading a pastry/bakery production team, ideally in a high volume setting, with a strong understanding of correct food handling procedures and a 'Safety First' approach always.

The role will require the following:

• Planning and scheduling staff, ordering and stocktake
• Learning the Tasty Fresh Food Co. values and way
• Competently (and without assistance) lift kg frequently
• Work in a cool room environment (below 5 degrees)
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently
• Perform repetitive work while adhering to quality and safety standards
• Using equipment and tools, as well as operating machinery for preparation and processing (Pastry sheeting experience highly regarded)
• Stand in one place for long periods of time
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment and facilities

• Computer knowledge

• Forklift licence highly regarded
