About the Role:
As a global OEM, we are paving the way with new technology. The Autonomy Support Engineer will provide sound technical leadership and guidance to team members and be a proactive contributor to wider customer support team regarding continuous improvement initiatives and standardisation of projects.
Skills and Duties:
With an immediate start you will:
- Provide technical guidance to the 24x7 Mining Support solution team and the wider Customer team enabling them to deliver support services on time, to budget and to the required standard
- Contribute to product reviews, new product development, strategy execution and deployment
- Support the development of the 24x7 Mining Support solution, defining use cases, stakeholder requirements and training recommendations where applicable
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and projects as required
- Collaborate with colleagues and peers to understand customer experience and problem solve in the case of product deficiency.
Essential Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Engineering or trade qualification with significant industry experience
- A demonstrated experience providing technical expertise to operational teams
- Proven experience working in cross-functional teams in a 24x7 environment.
Desirable Requirements:
Ideally you will have experience:
- With autonomous equipment, ideally within the mining industry
- Working in a continuous improvement environment
- Working on Liebherr equipment and sound working knowledge of the tools and processes available.
Applicants successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening process which includes drug and alcohol testing.
