About the role:

An exciting part-time, temporary opportunity exists for a Grade 4 Occupational Therapist Acute Operations Lead.

Western Health are seeking a dynamic clinician to join our passionate and innovative Occupational Therapy leadership team in this large and rapidly developing Occupational Therapy service.

Key responsibilities:

The successful applicant will have a key role in operational effectiveness of our acute inpatient services including service planning and development, recruitment and retention, influencing the delivery of high quality patient care through facilitating innovative service models, evidence based practice, quality improvement and research to support the delivery of person centred, occupation based practice.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Will be registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred occupational therapy practice
  • Have expert clinical knowledge and experience in acute service provision
  • Have proven skills in service planning, operational leadership, research and evaluation, and capacity for effective representation, communication and collaboration
