Kinvara Civil is a civil construction business based in Sydney. We are currently looking for an experienced full-time Welder to join our team on projects throughout Sydney & NSW.

To be suitable, you will experience with fabrication and welding, ideally working within a construction/engineering environment, great communication skills, be reliable, hardworking, safety driven and a good fit for the team. Must be able to deliver high quality work, with efficiency and accountability.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience
  • Trade qualification is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience on large scale civil project facilities is an advantage
  • Strong, effective communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Highly skilled using welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools
  • High level of attention to detail

Responsibilities and duties will include, measuring and cutting materials, laying out and position parts and assemblies in accordance with project specifications, performIng manual arc welding and grinding of structural columns, beams and structures. Carrying out various fabrication/welding techniques, as required and operating fabrication/welding tools and machinery.

  • Average 38 hr week possible overtime pay opportunities
  • Salary $70-90K, depending on experience
