About The Role:

The
Cloud Technical Analyst
plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the organization's ICT environment, which is primarily hosted in
Microsoft Azure
and encompasses a wide range of
Infrastructure and Application Services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
. This role demands a blend of deep technical expertise, proactive service management, and strategic insight to support both day-to-day operations and long-term digital transformation initiatives. The primary services are (but not confined to):

  • Infrastructure Services (public and private cloud environments, virtual networks, application gateway, telephony).
  • Business Services (including Application and Database Administration, Microsoft 365, Identity Management).
  • Deliver expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of incidents across Microsoft 365, Azure services, and integrated platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure high availability, performance, and security of ICT services.
  • Maintain and optimize identity and access management, including Entra ID (Azure AD), conditional access, and role-based access controls.
  • Assist in the design and deployment of automation solutions using PowerShell, Logic Apps, and Microsoft Graph to streamline operations.
  • Monitor and analyse system performance, usage trends, and security events to provide proactive recommendations for improvement.

IT Change deployments may occur during out-of-business hours or over weekends.

About You:

The ideal candidate is proactive and a technically skilled professional with a strong background in supporting and enhancing cloud-based infrastructure, particularly within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

They have demonstrated expertise in configuring and managing Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Compliance, and the broader Office 365 suite. Their technical capabilities are complemented by your ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve internal IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. They take personal accountability for delivering excellence, consistently seeking opportunities to improve systems and services. Their collaborative nature, responsive to feedback, and commitment to continuous learning reflects personal leadership behaviours, and actively contribute to team goals and agency outcomes.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context.
