About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a passionate experienced Preadmission CNC to join the Surgical Access Office

• Act as a patient advocate and provide patient education and support during pre-operative period
• Take a lead role in coordinating care provided by the multi disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcome for every patient on planned surgery list
• Continually strive to improve the service we provide to both our patients and the health service, by adhering to Planned Surgery Access Policy 2024

What you'll bring

• Experience and knowledge of hospital Patient Administration Systems (iPM)
• Advanced Microsoft Office Literacy
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with strong patient focus
• Ability to work independently and also as part of multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
