About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a passionate experienced Preadmission CNC to join the Surgical Access Office
Act as a patient advocate and provide patient education and support during pre-operative period
Take a lead role in coordinating care provided by the multi disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcome for every patient on planned surgery list
Continually strive to improve the service we provide to both our patients and the health service, by adhering to Planned Surgery Access Policy 2024
What you'll bring

Experience and knowledge of hospital Patient Administration Systems (iPM)
Advanced Microsoft Office Literacy
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with strong patient focus
Ability to work independently and also as part of multidisciplinary team.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
