Renova Talent are exclusively partnering with a high-growth, forward-thinking financial services organisation to appoint a Treasurer at a pivotal stage in its evolution.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on Treasury management with strategic direction, ensuring the organisation's funding, liquidity, and balance sheet strategies underpin both immediate objectives and long-term sustainability.

Reporting directly to the CFO, partnering closely with the CEO, and leading a small, capable team. A key priority will be expanding funding capacity, diversifying funding sources, and strengthening relationships with key investors, lenders, and advisors. You'll also contribute to product development and broader funding strategy, making this a role with both operational depth and strategic influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the organisation's wholesale funding strategy, including securitisation, warehousing, and alternative term debt programs, from investor engagement through to transaction completion.
  • Represent the organisation at term deal roadshows, investor meetings, and presentations, building credibility and confidence with funding partners.
  • Oversee the full term deal process, managing legal documentation, ratings, modelling, and execution.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with funding partners, investors, and advisors to expand capacity and diversify funding sources.
  • Oversee liquidity management, ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate reporting, and robust payment processes.
  • Prepare ALCO materials, including packs, agendas, and minutes, and contribute to key pricing decisions.
  • Partner with senior leadership on new product development, portfolio acquisitions, and strategic funding initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Treasury processes, reporting, and automation to enhance efficiency and governance.

About You:

  • Experienced Treasury leader with a strong track record in wholesale funding, securitisation, RMBS operations and debt programs.
  • Skilled in end-to-end deal execution, investor engagement, and legal documentation.
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills with investors, funding partners, and advisors.
  • Hands-on in liquidity management and operational oversight.
  • Strategic contributor to ALCO, pricing, and funding strategy decisions.
  • Experienced in leading small teams and driving process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation.
