Melbourne Airport is entering a significant phase of growth, with an expanded capital investment program that will shape the future of aviation in Victoria. To support this, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Deputy Treasurer to join our high-performing Finance team.
This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in the execution of Melbourne Airport's financing strategy, ensuring the organisation is market-ready to fund its ambitious growth agenda.
The Role Reporting to the Treasurer, the Deputy Treasurer is a senior leadership role responsible for:
Leading APAC's funding strategy and execution, including debt management and refinancing activities.
Building and managing relationships with banks, ratings agencies, debt investors, and internal senior stakeholders.
Preparing high-quality Board papers, investor materials, and governance reporting.
Overseeing financial risk management, liquidity, and long-term planning.
Coaching and developing the Treasury team, fostering a culture of capability and collaboration.
You will play a key role in maintaining APAC's credit ratings, ensuring strong investor engagement, and upholding Treasury policy and governance requirements. This role offers both strategic influence and hands-on execution in a complex, dynamic environment.
