As we continue to expand our operations, we're looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Person / Construction Technician to join our Albury-based team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Riverina Operations Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in a variety of construction and maintenance tasks. You'll be part of a supportive team, contributing to high-quality outcomes across a diverse portfolio of sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

Tasks allocated based on the successful applicant experience can include, but is not limited to:

  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs
  • Minor plastering
  • Painting
  • Basic Tiling
  • Manual labour tasks
  • Adhering to all safety standards, plans, directions, policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients, customers, supervisors, and team members
  • General Landscaping – lawn mowing, gardening etc.

· Other duties that are safe to do so and within your skillset

· Support the ongoing growth and reputation of MBS FM

General requirements.

· Construction industry white card.

· Silica and Asbestos awareness certificate.

· Driver's License.

· Ability to operate a vehicle towing a trailer.

· Knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment

· Good communication skills.

· High customer services aptitude.

· Able to plan works.

· Ability to work safely within procedures.

· Willingness to work in a positive team environment.

· Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in a team.

· Physically Fit.

Desirable Qualifications include:

· Trade Certificate/Licence.

· Working Safely at Heights.

· First Aid and CPR.
